3 years ago today Cal and I were getting married! I love anniversaries and all that they stand for.

1st swim lesson

Today was our first 'mommy and me' swim lesson at our gym. I was a little worried what Jozlyn would think of the water, as this was her first time in a big pool. Well, she didn't hesitate at all, she loved it! She was letting me hold her under the arms and was floating on her tummy, and on her back. She even let the teacher take her for a few laps around the pool and didn't even look back for me! She was the youngest kiddo in the class but you couldn't tell by her enthusiasm, what a little water bug.

The whole way home she was 'talking' to dolly telling her all about it. Seriously, she was babbling to her doll the whole 10 minutes ride home!

is it winter yet?

I'm loving this nice fall weather but it keeps reminding me that winter will be here before we know it...don't worry, Jozlyn is prepared! Check out her sweet new kicks (I got them here)


And just to reminisce, this is Jozlyn right before we brought her home from the hospital, 13 months ago almost to the day. As you can see, she is ready for the cold weather here as well! Only...um....it's the middle of August at almost 100 degrees outside. Hey! I'm a new mom and wanted my baby to be warm! Let's just say I still get made fun of to this day. When the nurse came in to say goodbye she took one look at Jozlyn and was literally holding back the laughter. I guess she does look a tad overdressed for August, huh?

This is Tayler, she is just about a month younger than Jozlyn and SUCH a happy girl! I didn't even have to work at getting these smiles out of her!

update!

It's been a while, huh? I've been busy! Here's a little overview:

We went to the ozarks for a family trip! It was so nice to all be together, even though the weather didn't cooperate. Here are the 3 pictures I took (hey, I was on vacation too!)...

When we got back Jozlyn became an official 'toddler'!

and she also became a climber...

All that walking and climbing must have wore her out...

Then Jozlyn got a cold, and just as she is getting over it I am getting it! It makes it a little difficult to rest and get better when you got a toddler to chase after!
